A Sweet Delight For Your Kids To Indulge In

Looking for a dessert the kids will love? Try these kulfi pops, created by former MasterChef winner and dessert queen Emelia Jackson, pictured above. They feature a new premium Indian ice cream, Katoomba Kulfi Hide & Seek, which is perfect for kids as it is slow melting!

Hide and Seek Kulfi-Pops

Prep time: 15 mins

Serves: 8 mini pops

Ingredients:

1 tub Katoomba Hide and Seek Kulfi

To coat

250g milk, dark or white chocolate

50g coconut oil

To decorate

Sprinkles

Freeze-dried fruits

Crushed chocolate cookies

Method:

  1. Let the kulfi soften at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before pressing it tightly into your ice cream moulds. Allow the little ice cream pops to re-freeze for 2-3 hours (or overnight is best) to firm up completely before dipping.
  2. To make the chocolate dip, melt the chocolate of your choice in a microwave-safe bowl until just melted before mixing through the coconut oil. Once the oil and chocolate are combined and glossy, you are ready to dip!
  3. Working quickly, dip the ice creams into the melted chocolate coating and decorate with any of your favourite toppings before the chocolate shell has set.
  4. Serve immediately, or return to the freezer until you're ready to serve.

Katoomba Kulfi Parle G and Katoomba Kulfi Hide & Seek are available exclusively at Coles, selected Woolworths stores and chosen independent outlets throughout Australia.
